Charles Poore

Charles Chuck R. Poore, aged 61, passed away October 22, 2024. Chuck was born on May 21, 1963, in West Toledo, where he spent his entire life.In his youth, Chuck participated in the Boy Scouts and Indian Guides with his dad and brother. He also helped restore the Bluebird Express train in Waterville, OH. He was on the varsity tennis team and continued enjoying tennis throughout his life. Chuck attended Collingwood United Methodist Church and was an avid lover of live music, especially enjoying tunes from U2, The Grateful Dead, and Lynyrd Skynyrd.Chuck graduated from Start High School in 1982 and later attended Toledo Community Technical College where he studied marketing. Professionally, he was employed at Midwest Tape and worked in various capacities across several industrial businesses.Chuck is survived by his identical twin brother, William "Bill" Poore and his sister, Joyce Poore-Williams (Mike). He leaves behind many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Charles W. Poore, and mother, Marilyn Poore (ne Kinsey).Arrangements are in the care of the Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home. Services will be private.
