Charles B Carpenter

Charles Bernard Carpenter earned his heavenly wings on Friday, November 22, 2024 after a courageous battle with cancer the past four and a half years. He was born June 3, 1954 in Toledo, OH. To greet him were his parents, Richard and Rosa Mae (Hill), and brother Jason. His wife, Elizabeth May (Luczak) who earned her wings in March of 2022, was waiting for him in heaven. They were happily married for forty-seven years. Also celebrating in heaven with him is brother and sister in law, Ray and Kathy Walczak, brother in law, Terry Stefanski and mother and father in law, Louise (Lykowski) and Stanley Luczak.Charles graduated from Bowsher High School and went on to enjoy life with his wife enjoying their many dogs and hobbies of gardening, puzzle making and working on his model train displays.He worked at the Libbey Glass factory for ten years. He held numerous jobs through life until medical issues got in the wayHis first and only vacation was in 2023 when he went with family to Tennessee. He was a diehard Cincinnati Bengals fan. A slight detour was made and he got to visit the Bengal stadium and gift shop along the way to Tennessee. Memories were made and a lot of pictures were taken too.Thank you to the staff at St. Annes Oncology Dept., who cared for Charles during his treatments. He enjoyed each of you and always had a little story to tell about his Mondays spent with the nursing staff.We are going to miss him but the memories remain. Surviving are sisters in law, Marge Stefanski, nephews, Jay and Jeff Stefanski, who helped take care of their uncle. Pat and Ed Przyojski, niece Kim, her husband Scott Ulmer and the twins, Madison and Mackenzie, nephew, Ed Przyojski. Brian, A.J., Alyssa, Lisa Walczak, Kaitlynn Sondys and Noah Tolliver. Chuck is also survived by immediate family; Eddie Carpenter, Rex Carpenter, and Mary (Carpenter) and their families, which we had no way of contacting.Charles would end each visit with, drive safe, and GOD BLESS!Services were private.
