Cathy Chase-Laub

Cathy Chase-Laub, 58, of Walbridge, Ohio passed away August 19, 2021, at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. She was born April 17, 1963, in Toledo, Ohio to Nickolas K. and Betty Jean (Roth) Chase. She graduated from Bowling Green University with a bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and worked in Toledo as a Probation Officer. Cathy married Robert Laub on November 6, 1998. They enjoyed taking care of their puppies over the years. Besides her love for puppies, Cathy enjoyed gardening and flowers. She was a loving wife, sister, and friend, who will be greatly missed. Cathy is survived by her husband, Robert Laub; puppies, Juno and Georgie; brother, James A. (Tonya) Chase; friend, Sharon Thayer; sister-in-law, Jocelyn (Charles) Harpel; brother-in-law, Jerome (Kim) Laub; parents-in-law, Robert and Viola Laub; and countless other special family members and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert D. Chase. Friends will be received on Wednesday, August 25, 2021, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Witzler-Shank-Walker Funeral Home, 701 N. Main Street, Walbridge (419-666-3121). A Funeral Service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, August 26, 2021, beginning at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in Lake Township Cemetery.
