Catherine Miller

Catherine "Cathy" Lynn (Gadoury-Rapton) Miller Cathy (born November 18th, 1955) left us on Tuesday, October 30th, 2018 due to medical complications, with her family by her side. She will join her husband, Dennis, who has readied heaven for her arrival; alongside with her parents, Shirley (Rapton) and Henry Gadoury; as well as grandmother, Catherine Richardson. Cathy was a mother of two, Ronald (Crystal) and Shaun (Christie) Coon. She was also a grandmother of six, Grace, Alex, Jasmine, Brooklyn, Jr., and Derek. She had much love for her brother, James Gadoury and sisters, Pam Rapton and Chris (David) Rumpf. Cathy was a very hard worker who always loved to interact with people. She made sure to put family and animals first, ahead of herself. She would always give her family the things they needed in life with less focus on the wants. She enjoyed the simple things in life, with a strong love for owls, thimbles, sewing, cooking/baking, and shopping especially for knickknacks. Nothing would stop her from getting a job done. She always focused on important morals of life and had her way to make everyone smile. Her love was a gift we will never forget and will always be with us every day! Friends will be received at Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home (1163 W. Sylvania at Lockwood) 419-269-1111 on Sunday from 4-7 p.m. The family has chosen to donate any memorial contributions to Humane Ohio to help pets in need as Cathy was an avid cat and dog lover. We believe she would have preferred to continue to help others.
