Carrie Lou Osgood

Carrie Lou Osgood (Bethel), age 96, of Sebastian, FL; previously Toledo/Holland/Perrysburg, OH, passed peacefully on Monday, October 23, 2023 at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Vero Beach, FL. She was born April 18, 1927 in Toledo, OH to James Arthur Bridges and Marie (Trutt) Bridges. Carrie attended Woodward High School and worked several jobs before meeting her husband, Homer, of 29 years (deceased at 51). They spent their lives raising 3 daughters and enjoying the events that went along with them. Carrie was a 4-H mom, worked at the State Hospital (2 years) and at The Andersons for 10 years as a Cashier. She re-married after 12 years to Jack Osgood for 17 years and they enjoyed traveling and going out to eat. She also enjoyed the Girls trips with her daughters and granddaughters; going to Mr. Freeze or the DQ and Word Search Puzzles. She lived in the Toledo/Perrysburg area until she was 92 years old and moved to Sebastian Florida to be with all her daughters and loved it there.

Carrie is survived by her 3 daughters: Dorothy (Jake) Seeman, Donna (Tom) Haynes and Diana (John) Heagy. Grandkids: Shari (Mel) Brindley, Larry (Bridget) Seeman, Dee Dee Hendershot, Tom (Kacey) Haynes, Tonya (Bob) Shank, Rob Whalen and John (Diana) Heagy. Great-grandkids: Jacob (Joni) Brindley, Melissa Brindley, Josh (Koriann) Seeman, Nate (Kareena) Seeman, Maegan Seeman, Carrie Hendershot, Eddie Hendershot, Tacia Haynes, Morgan Shank, Robert Shank, Mikayla Heagy, Makenzie (John) Hilgendorf, Krista Hall. Great-Great Grandkids: Sean Brindley, Ryan Brindley, Isabella Seeman and Emilee Seeman. She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands Homer and Jack; and Grandson-in-law Doug Hendershot.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 28, 2023 from 10:00 am until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 pm at Walker Funeral Home, Holland-Springfield Chapel, 7438 Airport Highway, Holland, OH 43528 (419-865-8879).
