Caroline Jean Wallace, age 83, passed away Friday, January 11, 2013, at Ebeid Hospice Residence, Sylvania. She was born December 30, 1929, in Bloomington, IL, daughter of Edwin and Ruth (Smiley) Anderson. She married Wilbur Wallace October 18, 1947 and together they owned and operated Wil-Jos Hotdogs from 1965 until 1971. Jean sold Avon and became a district manager from 1976 to 1980. She later worked for Edwin E. Lee, CPA doing accounting work. Jean was a member of the Lutheran Church of Our Saviour, Toledo, where she actively volunteered and served as President of the Women of ELCA. Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Wilbur. She is survived by her children, Randy Wallace (Robin) and Laura Danko (David); grandchildren, Jason Viers (Shireen), Christopher Wallace, Ashley Wallace (Ryan) and Jessica (Mark) Truna and close family friend, Mark Viers.
