Carole Gorny

Carole was a loving, giving person who retired from Mercy-St. Vincent Medical Center where she touched a lot of interns lives. She unfortunately lost hers there on November 30, 2020 after a long fight with COVID. Dave and Carole enjoyed many road trips in their 2012 Dodge Challenger SRT. They enjoyed many vacations at Lake Logan, Buckeye Lake and Ripley, OH. Other trips included San Antonio, New Orleans, Baltimore, MD, Atlanta, GA, Dallas-Ft. Worth TX and Houston, TX, meeting good friends Rob and Cindy Leitz and going to Washington D.C. to visit the Veterans Memorial. She was a member of Sylvania Moose Lodge 1579, Northwood VFW Auxiliary 2984, Maumee American Legion Auxiliary 320 and Rossford Eagles Auxiliary 2322. She enjoyed making homemade salsa and was always quick to volunteer when needed. She will be dearly missed by all. She is survived by her husband, David Gorny; brothers, Thomas, Jamie and Robert Salyers; niece, Nicole Salyers; nephew, Scott Salyers; great-nephews, Shane and Grayson; and her dear friends Andrea, Karen, and Dani.
