Brian Zachel

Brian D. Zachel, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. Brian leaves behind his children, Sean, Melodie, and Kyle, their mother, Kelly, and his siblings, Bruce (Sue), Jennifer (Paul), Laura (George), and Heidi. He also leaves behind many nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents, Anthony and Marian Zachel and brother-in-law, Dan.

Brian's love of music was a huge part of his life, and he was a talented musician who played saxophone, acoustic guitar and bass. He also enjoyed listening to and playing classic music from the 50s and 60s. He was also a local history buff and enjoyed talking about the famous theaters and clubs that existed in Downtown Toledo decades ago.

Brian will be sadly missed by family and many long-time friends. Many will recall that he had comedic talent and was always quick with one-liners and jokes.

Brian will be laid to rest privately at Lake Township Cemetery. Memorial Donations may be given to the Toledo Area Humane Society.
