Brian Andrew Kruger

Brian A. Kruger, 51, of Perrysburg, OH passed away due to natural causes in February 2017. He was the son of Bill and Margaret Kruger, born and raised in Lansing, MI. Brian graduated from Everett High School then attended General Motors Institute where he earned degrees in electrical engineering and manufacturing management. Brian put his considerable abilities into motion for General Motors, Prince Automotive and Johnson Controls Inc. After working in plant management at JCI, he decided on an early retirement from the work force and enjoyed a simple life for several years following wherever his inclinations led him. Brian had a quick wit, mischievous humor, and a truly generous nature. Those who knew him well will miss him dearly. He was preceded in death by his parents Bill and Margaret, brother Larry Kruger and sister Sue Kruger. Brian is survived by his siblings Mary Houde, Kaye Zahorchak (Bob), Ken Kruger (Fern), Rita Hotchkin (Mark), Dave Kruger (Cindy), Doug Kruger (Maggie), and sister-in law Terry (Chris Jenkins). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews. A celebration of Brian's life will be held on Friday March 24, 2017, beginning at 6:00 pm at Buddies Grill, Holt Plaza, 2040 N. Aurelius Rd, Holt, MI. Attendees are invited to wear their favorite cap and Hawaiian shirt in memory of Brian's fashion style. A celebration will also be held for friends in Perrysburg OH on a date yet to be decided.
