Bonnie Brown

June 5, 1951 — June 14, 2025

Bonnie L. Brown, 74, of Lambertville, Michigan, passed away peacefully June 14th, 2025. Bonnie is survived by her sons Kevin (Carole), Mark (Laura), and grandchildren Victoria, Margaret, and Maxwell Brown.

Bonnie was preceded in death by her husband Richard Nellett, mother and father Dorothy and Harland Loose, and brother Robert Janelis.

Bonnie was born in Toledo, OH and was a graduate of Whitmer HS. She was also a graduate of Mercy Nursing school and went on to work at the job she loved most, being a nurse at Mercy hospital and later at Aspen Grove nursing home. She worked at Jeep in her younger days and also enjoyed working with MaryKay cosmetics in her retirement years.

Bonnie loved to travel and enjoyed many trips and cruises across the globe, making memories with her family along the way. She loved to cook and entertain for family and friends. She loved gardening and tending to her yard and animals. Anyone that knew Bonnie, knew her love for animals. Cats, dogs, and any animal needing shelter, food, and love, knew where to go and had a home. She will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved her.

The family wish to thank NW Ohio Hospice in-house and visiting staff for you care and compassion. Hickory Ridge nurses and staff for your kindness and care, especially Heather. All of her outstanding neighbors, Mike Gabrielson, Loretta Wright, and the Rayburn family for all the love and support you gave her over the years. Also, her best friend Nancy Sohnly for being there and lifting her spirits, not just at the end, but always.

As per Bonnie’s wishes, there will be no showing or funeral services. She will be laid to rest with her family at Bedford Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
