Bobbi J Neitling

Bobbi June Neitling, loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother, lifelong nurse and loved by many, passed away January 5, 2022 surrounded by loved ones. She was 69.Bobbi was born in 1952 in Sandusky, Ohio to parents Robert and June Gillingham. She was their first daughter and second of eight children. Being the first daughter she was often a caretaker to her younger siblings which led to her becoming first an LPN then RN. She had many memories of growing up near Lake Erie with swimming and boating which influenced her lifelong love of boating. She spent many years in Florida where she became a mother to her two children. She found the love of her life in her late husband, Charles, after moving back to Ohio which rounded out the family of her own she always wanted. She was very crafty and loved to sew, make holiday decorations and drawing/painting. She loved to go on adventures whether it was just a car ride with her sister Anna or to travel to places she had never been before including Chicago, NYC and Philadelphia. She was known by family (including adopted) and friends as either Mom, Aunt Bobbi, or THE nurse; as she showed her love to almost everyone she came into contact with. Bobbi is remembered by her son Daniel W Gillingham, daughters-in-law Candace Gillingham, and Angie Gillingham, her daughter Alicia Shields, her grandchildren Justin (Sammy), Deanna, Madelyn and Keith Gillingham, her great granddaughters Rosalie and Ella, and many more unofficially adopted children and grandchildren. She is also remembered by her sister Lora and brothers Chris, Daniel and William and many more family and friends. She will be missed by those who knew her love, came to her for advice and those that just loved to spend time with her.A memorial service will be held at:The Church of Jesus Christ Of Latter-Day Saints11050 Avenue Rd.
