Betty J. Sampsel, 92, of Toledo passed away September, 22, 2023. She was born April 28, 1931 to George and Mildred (Nulf) Shoemaker in Toledo,Ohio. On July 5th, 1952 she married Clarence Zwolinski. They moved from Toledo, Ohio to Goetzville, Michigan until they moved to Rogers City where she worked as a secretary at several local businesses.
Her and Clarence raised 3 children: Suzan (Ren) Pilarski, Daniel (Shelly) and Mark (Lauren) all of Rogers City, Michigan.
She is survived by her 3 children, 6 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.She was preceded in death by Clarence Zwolinski and Jack Sampsel, her parents George and Mildred Shoemaker, siblings, William Shoemaker and Barbara Vaculik.
Per her wishes she's requested no visitation. Burial will be at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park next to her late husband Jack Sampsel.
