Betty Gillespie

Betty J. Gillespie, age 91 of Oregon, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at Orchard Villa. She was born in Toledo, on September 19, 1924 to John and Gertrude Solly. She was a graduate of Waite High School. Betty was employed at the former General Mills for many years then was employed with The Toledo Blade as a driver, retiring in 1988. Betty loved spending time at flea markets. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Charles Gillespie. She is survived by her son, Frederick (Beverlie) Gillespie, grandchildren Jamie (Merl), Brad (Brandi), great grandchildren, Nicole, Amanda, Cassie, Aaron, Brendon, Brady and 2 great, great grandchildren and she was very close to her niece, Helen Amonette.
