Bessie M. Stoner

Bessie M. Stoner, age 93, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at her home. She was born in Toledo on December 29, 1917 to George and Louise Draves. Bessie was a member of the Trilby Volunteer Fire Departments Ladies Auxiliary. She was preceded in death by her parents, her beloved husband, Harold Stoner Sr, son Charles Stoner, and sister, Louise Noltemeyer. Bessie is survived by her devoted children, Harold Stoner, Gene (Marcia) Stoner, Donna (Tim) Sobczak, Donald Stoner, Sally Stoner, 8 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, siblings George (Arla) Draves, Lois Camp and sister-in-law, Pauline Hermsen. Visitation for Bessie will be on Sunday, August 21 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm, Monday, 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301.
