Bernard Sartor

Bernard H. Sartor, age 99 of Toledo, Ohio, passed away Thursday, February 18, 2016 at Hospice of Northwest Ohio. He was born in Toledo, Ohio on June 18, 1916 to Henry and Loretta Sartor. He was a former member of Eagles #197 and Local #12. Bernard was employed with Jeep for many years, retiring in 1982. He was preceded in death his parents, beloved wife, Phyllis Marge Sartor and son, Bernie Sartor Jr. sisters, Geraldine Palmer and Delores Oates. Bernard is survived by his children, Theresa (Paul) Clement, Margaret (William) Wilson, Bernadette (Archie) Boychoff, Loretta (Dave) Sybert, Richard (Diane) Sartor, Delores (Mike) Miller, Marlene (Gary Baily) Robaszkiewicz, Christine (Bob) Kunkle, Carol Sartor and Myrna (David) Burgard, along llwith 23 grandchildren, 44 great grandchildren and 5 great, great grandchildren. Visitation for Bernard will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Monday, February 22 from 11:00 am until time of service beginning at 1:00 pm. Interment will follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Hospice of Northwest Ohio, 30000 E River Rd. Perrysburg, Ohio.
