Bernard And Roberta Rachuba, Jr.

Bernard Bernie, Jr. and Roberta Bobbi Rachuba passed away peacefully in their own home within hours of one another on December 2, 2022 and December 1, 2022 respectfully. They were married on August 22, 1964 by a shaman in Arizona, living their true love story together. Bernie and Bobbi raised two sons in the Toledo area after moving from California. Together they enjoyed traveling, camping, trips to the casino, NASCAR and their family, particularly their grandchildren and great-grandchildren.Bernie was born July 31, 1942 to Bernard and Doris Rachuba. He was a graduate of Woodward High School, and worked in various positions before retiring from Washington Local Schools. Bernie was a proud U.S. Army veteran.Bobbi was born July 9, 1945 to Gilbert and Violet Palmberg. She was a graduate of Sierra High School in Tollhouse, CA, and worked in various parttime positions in the Toledo area.They were preceded in death by their parents; and their son, Bernard S. Rachuba. Left to cherish their memories are their son, Brian (Jessica) Rachuba; grandchildren, Megan Windle, Brandy Rachuba, Jordynn Rachuba, Teighan Rachuba, and Nolan Rachuba; great-grandchildren, Trevor Davis, Bailey Birr, Savannah Windle, Kinsley Birr, and Wesley Birr; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. Bernie is also survived by his siblings, Ronna Kempke and Michael (Kathy) Rachuba. Bobbi was preceded in death by her siblings, Faye and Pete; and she is also survived by her sisters, Lavina Palmberg and Joyce JoAnn Barnes.Bernie and Bobbi were always together and a Celebration of their Lives will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2022 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Forest View Lanes, 2345 W.
