Beatrice Sarah Ann Sulewski

Beatrice Sarah Ann Sulewski, age 89, of Toledo, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2012 at Ebeid Hospice, Sylvania. Beatrice was born August 2, 1923, in Myerstown, Pennsylvania, and she is daughter of Charles and Matilda (Dierwechler) Henne. Beatrice married her husband, of 58 years, Ralph Sulewski and together they enjoyed being involved in all the activities of their four children, fishing on Lake Erie and traveling. Beatrice was a member of St. Clement Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Sulewski; son, Brian Sulewski; granddaughter, Nichole Yakir, her brothers, Charles Henne and Ray D. Henne. Beatrice is survived by three of her loving children, Susan (Michael) Yakir, James (Carolyn) Sulewski and Jeffrey (Janet) Sulewski; daughter-in-law, Juliann Sulewski; 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; one great-great grandchild; brother, Paul (Joan) Henne and sisters, Marian Sonday and Grace (Alex) Hartmann. Friends and family may visit on Thursday, November 15, 2012 from 3 p.m. 8 p.m. at H.H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 2319 Tremainsville at Alexis (419-474-1301). Scripture service will begin at 7:00 pm. Funeral service will begin in the funeral home on Friday, November 16 at 9:15 am and will follow with a Mass of the Christian Burial at 10 a.m. at St. Clement Catholic Church, 3030 Tremainsville Rd. Interment to follow at Calvary Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to St. Clement Catholic Church or American Diabetes Association.
