Barrett Schwartz

Barrett Daniel Schwartz passed to eternal rest on August 7, 2023 at the young age of 49 with his loving wife Michelle, family, and a friend by his side. Michelle and the family deeply mourn his passing. He leaves behind his wife, Michelle Sbrocchi-Schwartz, the love of his life of 22 years. Barrett loved all animals, but he loved his favorite cats Cleapatra, Bianca and Delilah so very much.Barrett was born on February 4, 1974 to his mother Cindy Singer and his father Ronald Schwartz in Toledo, Ohio. Barrett and Michelle were married on May 29, 2004 at St. Josephs Catholic Church in Sylvania, Ohio with many family and friends in attendance.Barrett graduated from Sylvania Northview High School in 1993. He also attended some marketing classes at the University of Toledo. He was employed at various companies throughout his working career.Barrett was an avid sports fan. He loved his beloved Miami Dolphins, Detroit Red Wings and Detroit Tigers. He loved golfing. He fished on occasion. He loved all cars. Especially, muscle cars and fast cars. He had a great passion for cooking. He was such an excellent cook that he enjoyed making many meals for others. He also had a great love for nature. He always used to share that nature was very significant to him. When he was able to be around large bodies of water, beaches, or marine life, it brought him great peace and serenity. For that reason he thought about becoming a Marine Biologist in his younger years.Barrett is survived by his loving wife Michelle Sbrocchi-Schwartz, his Mother Cindy (Milt) Goodrich, his Father Ronald and Susan Schwartz, Brothers, Ethan Schwartz, and Grant (Jessica) Schwartz, Grandmother, Vivian Singer, In-laws Frank and Janine Calipetro and Michael and Kathy Sbrocchi, Brother-in-law, Anthony Sbrocchi Sr., Nephew, Anthony (Maddy) Sbrocchi Jr., Nieces, Nia and Kayla Sbrocchi, along with many Uncles, Aunts, Cousins, and Friends.Barrett was proceeded in death by his Grandfather, Donald Singer, Grandparents, Jack and Ethel Schwartz, Grandmother, Mary Clare Powers, Cousin, Kyle Schwartz, Grandparents, Michael and Shirley Sbrocchi and Wilks and Gloria Sanders, Aunt, Gloria E. Graham, Uncle, Timothy Sbrocchi.Family and Friends can attend a celebration of Barretts life at the Blanchard Strabler Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Road, Toledo, Ohio 43613, Saturday, August 19, 2023 from 12:00 p.m.to 4:00 p.m. followed by a prayer service.
