Barbara Heibel

Barbara Lee Heibel, born on November 4, 1942, passed into eternal life on June 21, reuniting with her husband, LeRoy (Bob) Heibel, Jr. Barbara Lee will be sadly missed by her sisters, Patti Shurtz Franklin (John) and Deborah Shurtz Higginbotham (Franklin); her children, Mindy Bowling (Jeff) of Bettsville, Ohio, Carrie White (Ben) of Perrysburg, Ohio, and Mark Heibel (Robbon) of Cincinnati, Ohio, and by her grandchildren, Suzanne Richmond; Joel, Evan & Drew White; and Mia & Ashley Heibel. Barbara's family and grandchildren were the joy of her life! She had the gift of hospitality, was generous, thoughtful and never met a stranger. She had a heart for missions and served with her husband on short-term trips in El Salvador, Romania, Yugoslavia and Portugal. A celebration of Barbara's life will be held on Saturday, June 27, at 11 a.m. at Word of Truth Christian Center, 1163 Napoleon Road, Bowling Green, Ohio, 43402.
