Ashley Ryan Hazel Cole, 39, of Toledo, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on July 7, 2022. Ashley was born in Bowling Green, Ohio on July 19, 1982 to Allen and Debra (Harris) Potridge, where she was raised in Woodville, Ohio alongside her sibling.
Ashley attended Eastwood High School and graduated in 2000. At Eastwood, she had many friends and was a part of the Yearbook Committee as well as the ‘Wrestlerettes’ who kept the statistics at the schools’ wrestling matches. Upon graduation, she went on to marry her loving best friend, Brian, in Las Vegas in 2004. She was a loving and caring mother to both of her daughters and stepson as well as a proud grandmother to her three grandchildren. She absolutely loved playing with her grandchildren, loving on them, and watching them grow.
Alongside being an amazing mother and loving wife, Ashley loved to relax in her downtime by watching movies with her favorite people. She was the ultimate movie connoisseur and seemingly knew everything about the actors and actresses from just about any movie you could name. Occasionally she would venture out with her husband to go to a concert or to go camping, but only if she got to stay in a cabin. She loved all candy but had a special liking for Skittles, Starbursts, and Orange Crush soda.
Ashley was a true extravert who proclaimed to be happy all of the time. She was a genuinely honest person and was never afraid to let people know how she felt. She adored her kids and was always willing to help her mother-in-law with housekeeping. Her family will miss everything about her, especially her beautiful smile and her steady, loving friendship.
Ashley is survived by her best friend and husband, Brian Cole; children, Ryley Cole, Emily Cole; stepson, Brian Cole, II.; father, Alan (Lori) Potridge; grandfather, William (Brenda) Harris; siblings, Kristoffer (Michelle) Potridge, Amanda (Scott) Ingersoll; mother-in-law, Linda Holley; sisters-in-law, Tracey Schuette, Annette Kloesen, Brenda Franklin; brother-in-law, Michael Cole; nephews, Dylan Potridge, Matthew Ingersoll, Jack Ingersoll; nieces, Maggie Potridge, Mya Potridge; grandchildren, Brayden Cole, Jonothan Phillips, Alanna Cole; and many other cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Potridge; grandmother, Hazel Harris.
