Anthony was the third child born to Robert Jones and Calmeater Jones, on March 2, 1968, in Chicago Illinois. His father Robert Sr. and brother, Robert Jr. preceded him in death, as well as his paternal and maternal grandparents. Anthony lived a life full of passion and purpose. He had a deep love for model trains, which were his absolute favorite hobby that brought him joy and sparked his imagination. In November 2008, he proudly earned his CDL and began a career as a truck driver. Over the years, Tony was employed by Star Trucking, BT Trucking, DTS Trucking, his friend Corey’s trucking company, and most recently United Carrier. Trucking wasn’t just his profession; it was something he truly enjoyed and took great pride in.
At home, Anthony loved watching movies and TV shows, from Yellowstone to horror films, and his go-to favorites, Criminal Minds and Law & Order: SVU. He had a loud, unmistakable laugh that could turn heads, but more often making everyone laugh right along with him.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to Toledo Hospital, Flower Hospital, and the Cleveland Clinic for their outstanding care and compassion during his illness.
Though Anthony’s time on earth ended too soon, his love, laughter, and legacy will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
