Annie L. Price

Ms. Annie Lee Price was born on September 24, 1954, in Oxford, Mississippi, to the union of Mrs. Florence Price and Mr. Willow Brooks. She was the first of nine born. Annie was called home to be with the Lord on November 15th, 2023, in the care of Hospice at The Heatherdowns Rehabilitation Center.Ms. Annie was a hard dedicated worker at Metokote for a few years. She loved her Saturdays listening to music. Her favorite musical artists were Too Short and Snoop Dogg She had a love for plants; her green thumb was one we all, as her children, wish we had. Her many hobbies were crossword puzzles, word searches, going to Goodwill and yard sales. She loved to draw, paint, and decorate; she had an eye for creativity. She was a very clean and organized woman; nothing was ever found out of place, and if it would be, trust me, you would hear about it. Her family will miss her laughter and silly, but yet serious personality.She was preceded in death by both parents, Mrs. Florence Price and Mr. Willie Brooks, Sister: Ms. Joaddie Price, Granddaughter: Nora Newton.She leaves to cherish her memory; Daughters: Tieshetta Price, Marquetta Price, Son: Quintin Newton II (Andrea Newton) 5 Grandchildren: Timothy Powell II, Terrance Sission II, MaRya Odoms, MaKya Price, Kaleb Price. 5 Great-Grandchildren: Tristan Powell, EMarion Johnson, Londyn Powell, Prince Sission, Brielle Sission. Brother: Eric Thompson, Sisters: Patrice Thompson, Patricia Thompson, Alberta Booker, Willia Mae Price, Connie Jacobs, Sonia Brooks. A host of nieces and nephews, cousins, and friends.
