Ann Hunter

Ann Hunter, age 107, of Toledo, died January 8, 2022 in her home. She was born April 29, 1914 in Tiffin, OH to Mr. & Mrs. Howard B. (Elizabeth Nepper) Smith. She moved to Toledo at a young age. She was a 1931 graduate of St. Ursula Academy. Ann married the love of her life, Donald E. Hunter February 23, 1934 and he preceded her in death in 1978. Ann was a skilled seamstress and enjoyed reading, working puzzles and telling stories from her childhood. She was a dog lover, always having a dog at her side. Ann was the matriarch of her family and always would speak her mind. She was a long time member of St. Clement Parish.Survived by her daughter, Donna E. (Ralph) Richter of Castalia, OH; grandchildren, Donn Charles (Kathy), Mimi Charles, Kelly Goldsmith (Jeff); great-grandchildren, Amy Knowles (Kurt), Nicholas Goldsmith, Stephen Magyar (Ashleigh); great-great grandchildren, Koen Knowles and Wyatt Magyar. She was also preceded in death by her sister, Betty Kinney.A Funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday January 18, 2022 at 10 AM at St. Clement Church (3030 Tremainsville Rd. Toledo) Burial, Ottawa Hills Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the Toledo Humane Society or the donors choice.
