Andrea Rutherford Parrish

Parrish, Andrea L. (Rutherford) Andrea L. Rutherford-Parrish, 39 years young, passed away peacefully November 22, 2011, in Toledo, Ohio after a long and courageous battle with life. Born on July 17, 1972, in Toledo to Garry and Linda Rutherford, she graduated from Waite High School in 1990. She also graduated from Owens Community College, twice, earning two degrees in Radiology Technology and as a Registered Nurse. She was a proud employee of The Toledo Hospital where she touched many lives with her excellent bedside manner and caring spirit. Andrea leaves to cherish her memory, her husband of 10 years, Ronald Parrish of Toledo; father, Garry Rutherford of Swanton, sister, Abbe Rutherford (Phoenix); stepson, Gabriel Parrish; special uncle and aunt of Toledo, Benny & Mary (Tina) Rutherford, special mother-in-law, Sharon Harding; sister-in-law, Carol Gorka; and Parrish family; special cousins of Toledo; Benny Rutherford Jr. & Kristen (Rutherford) Lawecki; dearest friend, Kristine Harris; and many friends and family whom she left footprints on their heart. She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Rutherford, and grandparents, Arthur and Rexel Rutherford. The family would like to give a special thank you to all of Andreas friends and family, for all of their love and care given to Andrea and her family through this difficult time. Andrea is in a beautiful place now where she will continue her eternal life with the same passion that she had here on Earth. We will forever love you and miss you. We carry you with us always. In the words of our mother, 'Never say good-bye. I'll see ya around'. Visitation for Andrea will be at H.H. Birkenkamp (419-473-1301) Friday, November 25 from 2 pm-8 pm.
