Agnes B Behm

Agnes B. Behm, age 92, of Swan Creek Retirement Village, Toledo, Ohio, went home to be the Lord on Sunday, March 8, 2009 surrounded by her loving family at Ebeid Hospice Residence.. She was born July 27, 1916 in Curtice, Ohio to Amiel and Bertha (Streetz) Helle. She graduated from Clay High School in Oregon, Ohio. Agnes attended St Johns Lutheran Church, Williston, Ohio. She married Lester Behm of Martin, Ohio on November 12, 1938 and then later joined Elliston United Methodist Church. Agnes was employed with Ohio Michigan Paper Company and retired in 1979. She bowled for many years at Imperial Lanes, Ottawa Lanes and Showcase Lanes, Agnes was preceded in death by her parents, beloved husband, Lester Behm, brothers, Lester, Lawrence, Amiel, Harvey, Burton Helle, sisters, Mayne Foss, Sophie Cook, Dorthea Martin. She will be deeply missed by her sisters, Edna Weirich, Lauretta Peters, cousins, Glenn and Ruth Shinn, many nieces, nephews, several cousins and numerous friends. Visitation will be at H. H. Birkenkamp Funeral Home, 3219 Tremainsville Rd (at Alexis) 419-473-1301 on Thursday, March 12, from 2:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held in the funeral home at 10:00am on Friday. Interment at Ottawa Hills Memorial Park Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be given to Zion United Methodist Church, Elliston, Ohio, Ebeid Hospice Residence or to Swan Creek Retirement Village.
