Adam Simmons, age 37. Of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on June 14, 2025.He was a faithful husband, devoted father, loving son, caring brother, and loyal friend whose presence brought warmth, laughter, and strength to all who knew him.
Born on December 30, 1987, Adam was the youngest child in his family. He graduated from Start high school in 2007. He went on to work various jobs before spending the last 10 years employed at jeep. He was known for his dedication, strong work ethic, and no-nonsense attitude. Adam told it like it was never sugarcoating-but always with good intentions. He had a stubborn streak and took great joy in giving the people he loved a hard time, often making others laugh even when he acted tough. That playful side was just another way he showed he cared.
Adam was a true family man. He loved being a husband and father. His wife and children were the light of his life. And he took great pride in being a provider and protector. He was committed to showing up for his family in every way possible.
He is survived by his beloved wife, Karla Vazquez Valadez; his children, Onestia, Isaiah, Juelz, and Zaire; his parents, Michael and Jackie Simmons; his siblings, Danielle Horton (Pernell). William Simmons (Orsayor), Prentice Simmons, and Parish Korsnack (Alan): his cherished grandmother, Nana Mary Brigman; and his in-laws. Carlos and Lorena Vazquez, whom he loved like second parents. Carlos and Lorena supported and helped Adam in every way they could, and he was deeply grateful for their presence in his life. He also leaves behind a host of extended family members and close friends who will miss him deeply.
Adam had a big heart and was always generous, especially toward his mom, whom he considered his rock. He frequently expressed his appreciation for her love and constant support. He also took after his dad in many ways, particularly when it came to saving money-a trait he proudly inherited.
Though he had not yet formally dedicated his life to Jehovah, Adam held deep respect for biblical principles and moral values. He began attending Christian meetings on Zoom, asking thoughtful questions and engaging in meaningful spiritual conversations that reflected his growing interest in learning about God.
Adam will be remembered for his honesty, his sense of humor, his tough-yet-tender spirit, and most of all, for the deep love he had for his family. He was truly one of a kind and loved by many. He will be profoundly missed
