Honoring Our Legacy with New Locations & Services

Thank you for your continued trust and confidence in Blanchard-Strabler Funeral Home! As you see we have made some changes that give our families additional options; changes we are excited about, and think will help well serve families in the future!

Our building located at 3219 Tremainsville Road (at Alexis Road) in Toledo has been transitioned to new locations located at 7438 Airport Highway in Holland, Ohio and 701 N. Main Street in Walbridge, Ohio. The name of the funeral home has been changed to Sunrise Cremations and Funerals.

I, Jim Strabler, who oversaw Blanchard-Strabler for many years, remain an active funeral director at both Sunriselocations. The building on Tremainsville Road is being repurposed by another type of business and will no longer be a funeral home.

Sunrise Cremations and Funerals has partnered with The Cremation Society of Toledo, Northwest Ohio’s first and largest provider of simple cremation services, to assist us in providing the most affordably priced burial services, cremation services, and other events that celebrate and honor life – something we have been known for over the many years we have served Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan. Our phone number has not changed, remaining, (419) 269-1111. We are excited about this partnership and believe it will serve families in the Toledo area very well, including yours.

If you have concerns with the new locations of the funeral home in proximity to where you might have preferred services to be held, we have made provisions for that as well! Please give us a call and we will help you with the details and your choices. There are very thoughtful options for every family.
